This type of Radio was made for Aero/Ely models with factory made mixes and some left free. My modification consists in flashing a custom firmware, substitution of pots with 3-position switches and installation of backlight panel controlled by software. New firmware is more versatile, has more model memory and offers more control on any kind of mix between channels resulting in an easier use in our kind of models. It becomes easier to control winch, dig, lights, turn signals or other accessory with switches.
